Summer projects

The maker movement has been growing fast. If you fancy joining in, 16 year old Jonathan Yang has written about his experiences of building a 3D printer during his lunch breaks. Inspirational stuff.

Or, if you fancy something a little less hands-on take a look at Edpuzzle. Take a video you want to use in your classroom, add your own annotations, embed quiz questions. Great idea.

And finally (definitely not suggesting this as a Summer project…) see what happened when somebody strapped an HD camera on a polar bear.┬áIf you want to make your own (not featuring a bear..), the cameras they used are not nearly as expensive as you’d expect.
